Refund Policy
We would rather refund you quickly than argue. This page says exactly when you get your money back, and we hold ourselves to it.
Last updated · Effective
The short version
- An unwanted renewal charge is refunded in full if you tell us within 14 days. We do not ask why.
- Cancelling and refunding are different things. Cancelling stops the next charge; a refund returns one already taken. You can ask for both in the same email.
- We refund to the original payment method. Money typically lands in 5–10 business days.
- If something on our site said one thing and your statement says another, you get the money back, regardless of any time limit below.
A renewal you did not want
This is the common case: you meant to cancel, life happened, and a renewal went through. Tell us within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full and cancel the subscription. No survey, no explanation required, no partial credit instead of money.
After 14 days we look at it case by case, and we lean towards refunding when the account shows the subscription was not used in that period.
The trial charge
The $1.95 you pay to start the 7-day trial buys immediate access to the full report, which is delivered right away. Because it is delivered immediately, it is not automatically refundable.
We will still refund it if you ask within 48 hours and have not downloaded or shared your report, or at any time if the report did not work, did not arrive, or was not what the checkout page described.
The separate $29.95 charge on day 7 is a renewal, so the 14-day rule above applies to it.
Cancelling part-way through a period
When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, so by default we do not pro-rate. We do make exceptions — if you cancelled within a few days of a renewal and did not use the service in that period, ask, and we will usually refund it.
How to ask for a refund
- Email [email protected] with the subject "Refund request".
- Send it from the address you used at checkout, and include the charge date and amount if you have them.
- Say whether you also want the subscription cancelled — if you do not say, we cancel it, because that is almost always what people mean.
We reply within two business days with a decision. If we approve it, the refund is submitted the same day we reply.
How long it takes
We submit the refund to our payment processor immediately on approval. From there it is your bank's timetable: usually 5–10 business days to appear on a card statement. Some banks show it as a reversal of the original charge rather than a new line, so check the original date too.
What we will not refund
- Charges older than 90 days, unless we made an error.
- Repeat refunds on an account that keeps resubscribing and asking again — at that point we will close the account rather than keep taking money from someone who does not want the product.
- Charges from a different company. If the merchant name on your statement is not ours or our payment processor's, it is not us; check with your bank before assuming.
Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law, including any statutory right to cancel or to a remedy for a service that was not as described.
Please talk to us before your bank
If you do not recognise a charge, email us first. We can tell you what it was and refund it within a couple of days. A bank dispute takes weeks, locks the money while it runs, and gives you a worse outcome than an email would have.
This is a genuine ask, not a legal threat — you keep every right to dispute a charge with your bank, and we will not penalise you for doing so.
