Billing and plans

What you are charged, when, and why.

What exactly will I be charged, and when?

It depends which plan you chose, and all of them are listed in full on our Subscription & Cancellation Policy. In short: the 7-Day Full Access takes $1.95 on the day you buy, then $29.95 on day 7 and every 4 weeks after that. The Monthly Plan takes $29.95 every 4 weeks. The 3-Month Plan takes $59.95 every 12 weeks. Your exact renewal date is shown at checkout and repeated in your confirmation email.

Is the 7-day trial free?

No, and we would rather say so plainly than surprise you. It costs $1.95, which buys 7 days of full access. On day 7 it renews at $29.95 unless you cancel before then. There is one trial length on this site — 7 days — and it is the same number on the checkout page, in your email and in the policy.

What is the difference between the plans?

Access is identical on every plan. The only difference is how much you pay and how often. The 3-Month Plan is the cheapest per month at $19.98 equivalent, but it takes the full $59.95 up front rather than in instalments.

Can you change the price I pay?

Not for a period you have already paid for. If we change the renewal price we email you at least 30 days before the first renewal at the new price, and that email states the old price, the new price and the date. Cancel before that date and the new price never applies to you.

My card was declined. What happens to my access?

Our payment processor retries a few times over about two weeks and we email you. Access pauses while the balance is unpaid and comes straight back when a retry succeeds. If none succeed, the subscription cancels itself. We never send unpaid balances to collections and we do not charge late fees.

Cancelling and refunds

One email, no retention script.

How do I cancel?

Two ways, both immediate. Click "Manage subscription" in any receipt email and then "Cancel plan"; or email [email protected] with the subject "Cancel my subscription" from the address you used at checkout. There is no phone call, no form, no survey and no offer designed to slow you down.

Do I lose access the moment I cancel?

No. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling stops future charges; it never takes back time you have bought.

I cancelled but was charged anyway.

We refund it in full, and you do not have to argue for it. Email us with the charge date and amount. We backdate cancellations to the moment your email arrived, so a renewal that slipped through in between is always refundable.

Can I get a refund on a renewal I forgot about?

Yes. Tell us within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full without asking why, and cancel the subscription at the same time. After 14 days we look at it case by case and lean towards refunding if the account was not used.

Tests and results

What the score means, and what it does not.

Is my result a real psychological assessment?

No. Our tests are educational and entertainment content. They are not clinical instruments, they are not administered by a licensed professional, and they produce nothing resembling a diagnosis. They are also not political advice — a result describes how you answered, it never tells you what position to take.

Can I retake a test?

Yes, as many times as you like. Results move a little between sittings — that is normal for any self-report questionnaire and not a sign the test is broken. If two attempts differ a lot, the interesting question is usually which statements you read differently the second time.

Why did I get a different profile from someone who agrees with me?

Because the test scores several independent dimensions, not one left-right line. Two people can land close together on one axis and far apart on another, and the profile is assigned from the whole shape. It is also why people with nearly identical results reach opposite practical conclusions.

What do the percentages comparing me to other people mean?

They describe people who took this test on this site — a self-selected group, not a representative sample of any population. Treat them as a comparison with other takers, not with the country.

Privacy and your data

Where your answers go, and how to get them back.

Do you sell my answers?

No. We do not sell your answers for money, we do not pass individual answers or scores to advertising platforms, and we do not share them with any political organisation. We treat test answers as sensitive personal information as a matter of policy, whether or not the law requires it.

How do I get a copy of my data, or delete it?

Email [email protected] with "privacy request" in the subject and say whether you want a copy, a correction or deletion. We verify that you control the email address, then respond within 45 days — usually much sooner. A copy of your answers and results comes as JSON. Deleting your data does not require cancelling, and cancelling does not delete your data.

How long do you keep my test answers?

24 months from your last activity. Billing records are kept for 7 years, because tax and accounting rules require it A deletion request overrides all of this except records the law requires us to keep, and we tell you exactly what was kept and why.

How do I change my cookie choices?

Use the cookie settings button on the cookie policy page — your new choice applies immediately. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we honour it automatically and never ask.

Technical

When something does not work.

I did not get the email with my result.

Check spam and promotions first, and check for a typo in the address you entered. If it is genuinely missing, email us from the address you used and we will resend it. Corporate mail filters are the usual culprit; a personal address almost always works.

Do I need an account to take a test?

No. You can take a test without signing up for anything. We ask for an email only to send you the result, and your answers are kept on your own device while you are taking the test.

I lost my progress part-way through a test.

Your answers are saved on your device as you go, so refreshing or losing signal normally picks up where you left off. Private or incognito windows, and browsers set to block storage, clear that as soon as the tab closes — in those cases the progress is genuinely gone and the test has to be restarted.
